Botta Wedding graphic design suite including custom invitations, wedding signage, event graphics, and printed materials for Brook and Blaise.
Project Overview
The Botta Wedding was a full event graphic design project for Brook Botta and her husband Blaise. The work covered multiple pieces across the wedding experience, from bridal shower invitations and rehearsal dinner invites to custom wedding invitations, event signage, printed decor, and production coordination.
Custom Invitation Suite
One of the biggest pieces of the project was the wedding invitation suite. I designed custom z-fold invitations with original graphics, including a custom B&B logo and supporting artwork, creating a more elevated and memorable printed invitation experience than a standard flat card.
Wedding Signage
The signage package included multiple pieces for the ceremony and reception, such as image signs, a “Here’s to Forever” sign, unplugged ceremony seating signage, dessert signage, cards and gifts signage, guest book signage, bar signage, and a “Leave Us a Message” sign for the phone voicemail station.
Custom Illustration Details
A standout detail was the bar sign, which featured a custom Adobe Illustrator vector graphic of a Rottweiler inspired by their dog, Benson, holding a beer mug. That kind of personal touch helped make the wedding graphics feel specific to the couple instead of generic event decor.
Print Prep & Material Coordination
I also handled the print coordination, selecting materials that fit the quality of the event and preparing the files for production. Larger signs were planned with finishing details like holes in the top left and top right so they could be displayed cleanly and professionally at the venue.
Event-Wide Visual System
The project worked as a complete visual system, tying together shower materials, rehearsal dinner pieces, invitations, signage, custom illustrations, and printed decor. Each piece had its own purpose, but the full set was designed to feel connected across the entire wedding experience.
Impact
The finished project gave Brook and Blaise a polished, personal, and highly detailed wedding design package. From custom z-fold invitations to event signage and illustrated details, the work helped bring their wedding personality into every printed touchpoint.
