Project Overview
The Sutton Wedding was a personal wedding website and graphic design project for James Sutton and Kevin Sutton. The work included a full custom wedding website with guest functionality, z-fold invitations, a seating chart, bar sign, welcome sign, name place settings, food signs, and multiple printed event details designed to create a cohesive guest experience.
Wedding Website
I created the wedding website to give guests one place to find important event information and interact with the celebration before the big day. The site included wedding functionality, event details, guest-focused sections, and a visual style that connected directly to the printed invitation and signage design.
Z-Fold Invitations
The invitation suite was designed as a custom z-fold format, creating a more dramatic and memorable printed experience than a standard card. The layout combined photography, bold typography, black-and-white styling, and event details in a way that felt personal, polished, and elevated.
Wedding Signage
The signage package included a seating chart, welcome sign, bar sign, and several other pieces used throughout the wedding. These signs helped guide guests while keeping the overall event design consistent from the website to the printed decor.
Guest Details & Printed Pieces
I also created name place settings, food signs, and supporting printed pieces that helped finish the event experience. These smaller details made the design feel more complete and ensured the wedding visuals carried through the full guest journey.
Impact
The finished Sutton Wedding project brought together digital design, event stationery, signage, and printed guest details into one unified wedding system. From the website and z-fold invitations to the seating chart, bar sign, and place settings, the full suite created a polished and personal celebration experience.
